Our rates are designed to stay affordable while covering the real costs of maintaining a historic, nonprofit-run space. Rental income directly supports community programs and building upkeep.

To keep pricing clear and fair for everyone, all time spent in the building — including setup, event time, and cleanup — must be included in your reserved rental period.
We do not offer complimentary setup or breakdown hours.
This helps us avoid scheduling conflicts and keeps our rates predictable and affordable.
If you need additional time, it can be added based on availability.

To protect our equipment and ensure high-quality performances, all use of The Sanctuary’s sound and lighting systems must be approved in advance.
Visiting engineers or technicians must be approved by venue staff
Outside operators may not use house equipment without permission
Performers may bring their own sound and lighting systems with prior coordination
We offer professional in-house audio engineering for most performances.

The Sanctuary is a do-it-yourself, community-centered venue.
We provide the space, basic furnishings, and on-site access — and you bring your vision to life.
We do not offer in-house:
Catering or food service
Event planning or coordination
Decorating services
Set-up or tear-down staff
Bartending or beverage service
Renters are responsible for all event logistics, including food, décor, vendors, and staffing.
This model allows us to keep our rates affordable and our space flexible for artists, nonprofits, and neighbors.

Estimate & Contract
You’ll receive a Square estimate and rental agreement outlining rate, hours, and terms.
Reserve Your Date
Your event is confirmed once we receive a 50% deposit and a signed contract.
Final Payment & Event Day
The remaining balance is due at or before the start of your event.
A Sanctuary representative will be able to meet you to open the building and help as needed.
